Tom Cruise in Stockbridge?

Our local sources – very reliable – tell us that a certain Hollywood Film Star was in Stockbridge recently, apparently looking at locations for his latest film, a science fiction action move, “All you need is Kill”. Reports in the regional newspapers confirm that there is the possibility of the star working in the Test Valley – but as ever, details seem sketchy!

Should it turn out to be the case that Tom Cruise does indeed end up filming locally, no doubt he will enjoy the discreet nature of Stockbridge locals – after all, we have a long history of celebrity visits to the town, as far back as the visits of King Edward VII to watch the horse racing on Stockbridge Downs and spend time with a certain Lillie Langtry…..
