Looking for Xmas Trees?

Its that time of year again, when we all start hunting around for that perfect Christmas tree to become the centrepiece of the house decorations. It can be very confusing and frustrating with so many places to get them, from the big DIY stores right down to local entrepreneurs, but over the last few years we have always found the team at Longstock Park Nursery just up the valley from Firs Lodge to be excellent.

They always seem to have a good selection of shapes and sizes of tree, and are very good with advice, and can deliver locally if you don’t have a large vehicle. It has become part of our tradition now to go and see them and pick out our choice tree to take home, then suddenly – its beginning to feel a bit like Christmas!
